Complementary and Alternative
Medicine Discount Program

This Discount Program is not an insured benefit, but a discount program that allows the member to receive alternative and complementary medical services and products at reduced prices. The Discount Program allows you as a member the following discounts:

1) You will have access to your Providers Services at a discount of 20% off the normal billed charges. At the time of service you are responsible for the entire cost minus the discount. The discount does not include herbs or vitamins purchased from the provider.

How does it work?

Select a provider from your AHO directory or visit the online directory for the most up to date information

Call provider’s office for appointment.

Identify yourself as a member of AHO. The provider may not recognize your insurance company name if given.

If you are directed to a different provider, contact AHO to confirm the provider is an AHO PPO Provider, as the provider may be new to the group practice and may not be a participation provider.

2) You will also receive various discounts from contracted Retail Stores and Services. These include stores and services such as Natural Food Stores, Yoga and Tai Chi Classes.

What do I have to do?

Select a retail store from your AHO directory or visit the online directory for the most up to date information.

Stop by the retail store.

Identify yourself as a member of AHO.
