Alternative Healthcare
Options encourage employers and health plans to integrate complementary and
alternative medicine into their traditional medical benefits. AHO is
capable of managing this integration through education and establish utilization
treatment protocols of CAM services
1) You will have access to your Providers
Services as
a covered benefit.
At the time of service you are responsible for your office visit
co-pay. The CAM rider offers coverage for acupuncture, chiropractic,
naturopathic medicine, massage therapy, and a natural drug formulary.
How does it work?

Select a provider from your AHO directory or visit the online directory
for the most up to date information

Call provider’s office for appointment.

Identify yourself as a member of AHO.
The provider may not recognize your insurance company name if given.

If you are directed to a different provider, contact AHO to confirm the
provider is an AHO PPO Provider, as the provider may be new to the group
practice and may not be a participation provider.
2) You will also receive various discounts from contracted Retail
Stores and Services.
These include stores and services such as Natural Food Stores, Yoga and
Tai Chi Classes.
