What are the advantages of using The Natural Drug Formulary?
Our natural drug formulary has been developed with products based on required dosages approved by the German Commission E Agency for their safety as well as historical and scientific evidence of efficacy.

What is/is not covered?
Natural drugs/products are covered when prescribed by a licensed physician or an alternative practitioner for a specific condition for which the natural drug/product has been scientifically proven. If the product is prescribed for a condition not on the formulary the member will pay out-of-pocket expenses.

Who is eligible for benefits?
If you and your family are presently covered for outpatient prescription drugs under your employer's medical plan, you are eligible for the Natural Drug benefit.

Discuss the possibility of using natural drugs.
Make sure the dosage, doctor's signature name, and address is on the prescription

How do I file a claim?

Complete entire claim form
Write member number on the back of each prescription
Mail detached form and prescription to AHO's Natural Pharmacy.
Include $4.00 S& H to total amount sent.
Include check, money order, or credit card information (DO NOT SEND CASH).

When will I receive my prescription?

Your prescription will be sent First Class U.S. Mail. You will receive your order within one week of mailing your order to Alternative Healthcare Options.
